Step 1:
Click on the link to download the .pdf template for the pop-up House:
Step 2:
Print out both pages from the template onto heavy paper, such as card stock or construction paper.
Besides the printed out pages, you will need a ruler, white glue, (such as Elmer's), scissors, and a paper clip or ballpoint pen that has run out of ink.

Step 3:Using a ruler as a guide, take the rounded end of a paper clip (or ballpoint pen that has run out of ink) and press along the dotted lines of the pop-up pieces and card.

Step 4:Carefully begin cutting out the House pieces following the solid, black lines...

Step 4 continued:...until all the pieces have been cut out.

There are 4 House pieces and 1 card.
|
Step 5:Take the piece with Tabs labeled "A" and "B" and fold tab "A" BACK along the dotted lines.
|
Step 6:Fold tab "B" FOREWORD along the dotted lines.
|
Step 7:Put a small amount of glue on the area marked "Glue here A" on the main house.
|
Step 8:Line up tab "A" with the area marked "Glue here A".
|
Step 8 continued:Press down firmly and allow the glue time to dry.
|
Step 9:Find the dotted line to the left of tab "E" and fold UP along that line.
|
Step 10:Put a small amount of glue on the marked "Glue here B".
|
Step 11:Fold the wall with tab "F" over to match the area marked "Glue here B" with tab "B".
|
Step 11 continued:Press firmly and allow time for the glue to dry.
|
Step 12:Fold the left wall up along the dotted line.
|
Step 13:Fold tab "C" down.
|
Step 14:Put a small amount of glue on the BACK of tab "C".
|
Step 15:Match tab "C" with the area marked "Glue here C" (the tab tucks underneath).
|
Step 15 continued:Press firmly and allow the glue time to dry.
|
Step 16:Open the house structure into a box shape.
|
Tabs "E" and "F" need to be folded in.
|
Step 17:Fold tab "E" DOWN along the dotted line.
|
Step 18:Fold tab "F" out along the dotted line to crease it.
|
Step 18 continued:Fold tab "F" in. Set this piece aside.
|
Step 19:Crease the tabs on the roof piece labeled "D" downwards along the dotted lines.
|
Step 20:Put a small amount of glue on the tabs labeled "D".
|
Step 21:Line up the other half of the roof with the dotted lines, and press down firmly.
|
Step 21 continued:Note that there is a hole in the middle of the glued-together roof.
|
Step 22:Fold the card in half along the dotted line.
|
Step 23:Put a small amount of glue on "glue here E".
|
Step 24:Line up tab "E" with the area on the card marked "Glue here E".
|
Step 24 continued:Press down firmly and allow time for the glue to dry.
|
Step 25:Put a small amount of glue on the area marked "Glue here F". Collapse the house-box so that tab "F" is on top of tab "E".

Step 26:Close the card to match "Glue F" to tab "F".
|
Step 26 continued:Press firmly and allow plenty of time for the glue to dry. Now all that's left is to put the roof on!
|
Step 27:Open the card and make sure the house is standing up firmly.
|
Step 28:Fold the small tabs around and hold them in place.
|
Step 29:While holding the tabs closed, get ready to thread them through the hole in the roof piece.
|
Step 29 continued:Threading through the hole...

Step 30:Open the tabs to lock the roof in place. Make sure the roof is folding downwards (in a normal roof shape).
