Travels in Time and Space (VHS)

Join Robert as he takes you on a journey through the process of creating some of the most memorable books ever for children (and adults, too!). In a new video Robert shares the vision and techniques used to create his amazing books, talking about the challenges and wonders he encounters on the way.

This video was shot live at the opening of the exhibition "Travels in Time and Space" at the National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL), On display is original artwork from his amazing winning picture books as well as exclusive 3D concept mock-ups for some of his intricate signature-style pop-ups.

Robert shares insightful, detailed, and even silly commentary on the process behind his well known titles. Through stories he talks about how his experiences as a little boy contributed to the artist he is today. This is ideal to experience with your students or children. Robert's video is destined to become a memorable trip behind-the-scenes for children's book lovers everywhere.
