"Dinosaurs! Encyclopedia Prehistorica"
You've never seen dinosaurs like this! In the summer of 2005 "Dinosaurs! Encyclopedia Prehistorica" by Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart will be popping up all over!

| A pop-up of prehistoric proportions "Dinosaurs" was written and illstrated by Matthew and paper-engineered by Robert. Tyrannosaurus Rex leaps out from the page to take a bite out of the reader!
Two triceratops battle to the death in this rough, all-white prototype from the book. Each pop-up spread also has side flaps containing pop-ups with more dinosaurs inside.
Ankylosaurus has his spiky moment in the spotlight. To create the pop-ups Robert would make very simple versions of the dinosaurs first and then refine each one until it would pass Matthew's muster (he has a biology degree and really knows his dinosaurs!).

| One of the challenges in "Dinosaurs!" was to create the most life-like movements in the pop-ups. A great deal of research went into studying each of the chosen dinosaurs to ensure accuracy.
Brachiosaurus stands tall over a modern elephant and human for a little bit of size comparison. The goal of "Dinosaurs!" is not just to entertain but to help the reader learn more about these ancient creatures in a more lively fashion.
Was the feathered Archeopteryx the ancestor of modern birds? This question and more will all be explored in this pop-up book 250 million years in the making!
| As "Dinosaurs!" makes it way to a finished pop-up book (with more pop-ups inside then any other book Robert and Matthew have made before!) we'll keep you up date with more Sneak Peeks!
