| At the beginning of the story, Noah is introduced to us a simple man who respects the earth and all those that live there.
After a visitation by God (has there ever been a pop-up God before?), Noah is instructed to build an enormous ark to save all the creatures of the planet. The pop-up was one of the most difficult for Matthew to design.
We all know of Matthew's love of bugs, so it's no surprise that special attention is given to the collection of all the insects and tiny creatures.

| This pop-up is so big, it can hardly be contained between the pages! As God has commanded, all the animals of the world make their way to the ark, a veritable parade of zoology!
Unwilling to listen to Noah's pleas, mankind ignores the warnings until it is too late. The ark actually rocks on the swells and the water begins to rise covering the land!
Noah's family suffers along with the animals of the perilous ocean that has now completely covered the world.

| Creating an ark is a family affair as Noah's sons and daughter's-in-law all pitch in (the pun is completely intended as this son adds pitch to the ark to make it waterproof!) to save the animals.
Birds aren't the only ones to find sanctuary in the ark. Noah has made sure there's plenty of room for the bats, too!
Meal time is a HUGE undertaking aboard a ship that contains every living animal on earth! But Noah and his family trust in God and all works out well to fill each hungry stomach.
