The semester has come to a close at Pratt Institute and Professor Olmon’s students really showed off their talent before bursting through the classroom doors into their summer vacations. And who can blame them after all their hard work they deserve a rest from the scissors and glue. Check out the collection of three-dimensional promotional packets!


Here’s a fabulous parody promotional with three pop-up cards. They even come nestled in a cute paper handbag.	A lovable ad campaign for a lovable character. Meet My Teddy!!	A few students chose to create pop-up portfolios to bring their paintings and drawings to life. This artist decided to show off her gooey, slimy paintings.


One of our animation students wanted to make a pop-up promotion for her latest film. The paper boat spins on the crest of a wave in front of the large lady.	Here’s a fun collection of movables to promote a company that specializes in crab seasonings. We love the recipe in flipbook form!	This artist’s portfolio showcased here wonderful graphic works in various devices. Her use of the flexagons was perfect for her kaleidoscope compositions.


We have another collection of movables to showcase this student’s work. We had a good laugh over her clever pun built into her flipbook!	Flexagons, pop-up trading cards, and 3-D business cards complete this artist’s vibrant pop-up portfolio of work.	Finally, we have an excellent mini pop-up book from a student that found interesting ways to share her recent projects ranging from tiny trowels to building designs. Let’s hope that all our students keep incorporating their new pop-up skills in all their work!
