April Sneak Peek

More photographs from the opening of Robert's exhibit at NCCIL.

Providence and Topo come crashing through a wall at the NCCIL to welcome visitors to Robert's incredible exhibition.

The NCCIL takes a step back in time to follow the life of Robert, from towheaded mess maker to grown up artist.

A young Robert Sabuda fan raises high an invitation and brochure to announce the arrival of the artist!

This is the inside of the exhibition brochure. Robert uses an unbelievable variety of techniques in his illustration work, all of which are on display and ready for their close-ups.

Robert celebrated his birthday while at the NCCIL opening. As a child, he loved pop-up books. Robert's family gave him books for all occasions - including birthdays!

Here Robert demonstrates to the crowd how to make a simple pop-up.

Children were invited to use their imaginations and create their own.

Just like these young artists, you can make your own pop-up too!.
