An incredible collection of pop-up advertising is currently on display at the new Eisner Museum of Advertising in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The exhibit not only contains an impressive collection of pop-up ephemera from the collection of Ann Montanaro but includes many interactive elements.
		Automotive is one of the largest areas of advertising in the world and some of the best examples are on display in all their gadgety glory!		Structural Graphics in Connecticut uses a prop plane pop-up as part of their promotional material packet for potential clients.

Children's television is an obvious place for pop-up promotion. Nickelodeon Television (a division of the media giant, Viacom) currently leads the field in children's entertainment.

Never underestimate the power of the sports fan! A shopping plaza and new sports arena makes for an incredible example of pop-up persuasion.

One of the best known pieces of pop-up advertising is the sky line of San Francisco. This piece was one of the first upscale ad pieces produced by Intervisual Communications.

Not all advertising needs to be flashy to be effective. A simple, white staircase is all that's necessary to get the attention of a potential client or customer.

Some pop-up advertising is even used to advertive...pop-ups! Above is an invitation to a pop-up exhibit in New York City in 1993.

Drug and medical companies spend millions of dollars to promote their new products of doctors and patients. The exhibit has some of the best (and most hilarious) examples.

Who wouldn't want to wake up and open your favorite magazine to this?! The pop-up cup of espresso is definitely one of our favorites! At right, Michael Jackson's CD package hypnotizes us to buy, buy, buy! >>>				The perfect way to say "I love you," "I'm sorry" or "Congratulations!" This bouquet is one of the few pieces in advertising that feature an organic, non-human image.
