Mountain folds are like tents, with the paper folding back, away from you.
Valley folds are v-shaped, with the paper folding up towards you.
Step 3: It's easier to color in and/or decorate your pop-up pieces before you cut them out!
(Note: Your pop-up pieces and card will be larger than the ones shown in these pictures!)
Step 4:
Using a ruler as a guide, take the rounded end of a paper clip (or ballpoint pen that has run out of ink) and press along all the dotted lines of the pop-up pieces and card.
Step 5:
Carefully cut out the pop-up pieces and card following the solid, black outlines.
Step 6:
Mountain fold the tiger’s body in half along the dotted line.
Step 7: Cut along the solid black line to form the lower jaw.
Step 8:
Valley fold the lower left tab and unfold it.
Step 9:
Repeat valley fold on the right tab.
Step 10:
Push the tiger’s lower jaw forward along the middle fold you made before.
