If you are interested in creating a pop-up book for publication, artist Shawn Sheehy "dummy" is a perfect example of what publishers like to see.

Shawn's dummy is focused in its subject matter (animals that live in a neighborhood), well illustrated and the pop-ups are big, interesting and clean in execution. A publisher would not necessarily have to see an ENTIRE book idea made into a dummy. An aspiring pop-up maker could show one or two pop-ups as well as the manuscript. But Shawn has chosen to go that extra mile and make up the whole book.
