Meet Tamara B. Miller!
Author and creator of two pop-up activity books, Pop-up Discoveries and Pop-up Activities to Teach Genre Tamara’s books teach kids how to write better stories through a fun and interactive way. Pop-up Discoveries includes 19 easy-to-assemble story starters. Children are amazed and delighted when their stories come popping off the pages of these easy-to-assemble booklets! Kids start off by choosing what story they want to write and assemble. Subjects range from submarine adventures to making their own robots come to life.
Here is an example of a pop-up submarine made from the Pop-up Discoveries book. What would your underwater sea adventures be about? Or you can write a story about two friends lost at sea...... and a day at the county fair.
Tamara B. Miller holds a M.Ed. in Elementary Education. She has taught just about every grade level from preschool through sixth grade in Arizona schools since 1985. Tamara is a frequent presenter in the Alhambra, Pendergast, Kyrene, Peoria, the Gilbert School Districts and the annual Arizona Reading Association Conference.
