Paul (with Ed Hutchins in background) brought a few pieces of his amazing work for an exciting show-and-tell for Robert and Matthew and their staff.

Paper engineer Teen Liu takes a look at a gorgeously vibrant carousel.
|
Robert hams it up for the camera while Paul is the very picture of professionalism!

Curious to see how things work at the studio Robert (with the help of paper enginner Michael Caputo, foreground)
gives a quick tour of what makes a NYC pop-up studio tick.
|
Paul amazed the group by sharing his journal, one very long piece of paper bound into a book.
He tries to write/sketch in it as often as possible.
He has dozens of them already filled!
|
His sketches are brilliantly detailed and cover all aspects of his life.
Paul sketches so quickly he drew the studio in under a minute.
Robert and Matthew appropriately hung their heads in shame.

One of the most intriguing guings Paul showed was a pop-up made completely without glue.
|
All of the pieces are slotted and tabbed together. A pop-up that is put together without glue will function
much more smoothly because glue added a certain amount of stiffness.
